What a strange show. First off Kevin K calls up and tears me a new one for violating the sanctity of the tournament with last week's decision to take the executive challenge for the coin flip which lead to Yoshi Island's over-ruling.

Then Earthbound gets eliminated in the 1st Round as well as Comix Zone!! Unreal.

Stupid ass voters eliminated Earthbound

3 coinflips in this one as the decisions came down to the wire and no one could decide.

Block 5 Preview

Earthbound remains a classic RPG to this day

Donkey Kong Country vs XMEN

Super Metriod vs Super Smash TV
Secret of Mana vs Earthbound
Comix Zone vs UN Squadron

This week we will be going over a few of the games on our message board and why they are so legendary. First up Donkey Kong Country, we've found the Nintendo Power video: Donkey Kong Country Exposed!

We also have a poll to decide if you should be able to challenge a coinflip, and that poll can be found here.

Prediction: The toughest battle will involve Earthbound vs Secret of Mana, but in the end all shall fall to Donkey Kong Country.

It came down to two games which didn't want to give up, and neither did their fans. Final Fantasy III survived an amazing sequence of events, and faced the surprising juggernaut of this block, MegaMan X.

Block 4 Preview

NCAA Basketball is one of the most underrated games of all time.

Battles:
Round 1
Mortal Kombat vs Zombies Ate My Neighbors
MegaMan X vs NCAA Basketball
Sonic 3: Sonic & Knuckles vs Final Fantasy III/6
Yoshi's Island vs Ghostbusters

Personally this is going to be a fun one to sit back and watch the carnage. We have Final Fantasy III, Sonic 3, Yoshi's Island all in the same block. This pulls on your heart strings already.

Prediction: I think we will see an upset and I'm going to go with Mega Man X to win the whole block & move onto the Final 8.
